Hi Guys, I must say you both sing very well together. What is the name of your opening song, I would like to find and listen to it. I enjoy your various quiz games.
What makes you like Jesus? You mention Jesus in the start of your podcasts but hardly say anything else about him. I do very much enjoy hearing about Alaskan life.
Steve from Long Island
Hey Steve, Thanks again for your support and following! The song we use for the podcast is Have and Hold by the Young Fangs. They are a local band from Fairbanks, AK. A few of the guys in the band play worship music at churches here in Fairbanks.
You asked about us mentioning Jesus in our podcasts and I'd like to let you know that we are intentionally light on Bible teaching in this podcast. Both Ryan and I have Bible degrees, are currently active in ministry, and are passionate to share the Gospel with the world. As we were reaching out to our communities (AK, NC, VA, MI, NY, etc.) we found that there are people who are not interested in coming to church or feel Christians are judgmental and unapproachable. Therefore, their ears are closed off to the Gospel message before it is even spoken. Alive in Alaska Podcast exists to break down the barrier between Jesus and the "un-churched" by giving them an example of two Christian guys who are just normal people. AiA is the first breadcrumb someone may find that ultimately leads them to Jesus.
Great episode guys!! Too funny!! You had me cracking up haha!! :)
Love the shos as always!!
Thank you Alisha! So glad you listen and share. ##1fan
Great stuff, it is like they are both battling it out for gold in the Goofball Olympics! You will have to listen to see if it is Rodney or Ryan that will take the award home!
Thanks for the comment Nick (aka The Great Smelling Guy)! We have a lot of fun with the podcast. :)
