It’s been a crazy road that got me and my family up to Alaska, literally and figuratively. I hope to be able to share some of that story with you soon.
I am married to my wonderful wife, Jackie. We have been married for 7 years and have two fantastic (so far) kids. Lincoln is our son, he is almost 2 and our little girl Eva, who is almost a month old.
Life sure does have a way of making the most out of the weirdest circumstances, and not a day goes by that Jackie and I aren’t amazed with where God has brought us. We are so thankful to be living in Alaska and to be able to call this place our home. I hope you glean a little from my life and hope we can get to know one another on Alive in Alaska!
Thanks a lot for visiting our website and checking out Alive in Alaska. I grew up in Michigan and spent 6 years in North Carolina. I have been married to my high school sweetheart for 15 years. We have 2 awesome kids: River (boy, 12) and Laike (pronounced “Lake,” girl, 10). They love playing Xbox and with Legos. My wife, Deanna, is amazing and she is always doing something creative. She runs her own small business and enjoys it very much. Many of her products are featured in local boutiques. She also runs a blog named The Quiet Wife, go and check her out. I enjoy the outdoors, fishing, hunting and riding my bike (primarily downhill).
My wife and I earned our Associate’s in Biblical Studies through New Tribes Bible Institute. I then went on to earn my Bachelor’s in Bible with a Minor in Counseling from Piedmont International University. Most recently, I finished up my Master’s Degree in Pastoral Counseling through Liberty University.
